 October 29, 2007 | category: my work So I’ve been juggling a few projects lately…… I’m going to start working on my idea for an upcoming gallery’s Bruce Lee themed show. I’ve never created an image paying homage to Bruce Lee before….should be fun to see how this ends up. I’ll be posting progress pictures from concept to finished product on [...] October 26, 2007 | category: personal My wife and I just went to the state fair. We had alot of fun, and saw alot of stuff. There was was a stunt dog show, which was awesome, and the pig races were pretty cool too. In a nearby museum there was a guy who was breaking another world record in stacking cards. It was insane! His approach and technique are truly remarkable, because he uses no adhesives in the building process. The architecture surrounding the fairground caught my eye especially. There were these weird statues along this small waterway, 6 of them in distinct positions with different symbols on each one. I think I’m going to try and find out the story behind them. Without getting into much detail in the plot, she explained it to me in one of our many random conversations about life. After doing further research on the book and reading a selected excerpt, I plan on making it my next quick read. [...] October 5, 2007 | category: animation I just saw a very good animated movie: TEKKONKINKREET. The story has alot of heart to it, and the scenery and background art is mindblowing. What was also enjoyable to see was an unconventional approach to an animated style.
