2004

(December 5. 2004): The skateboard deck artshow is now traveling around the country. Chicago is set for the month of january at Rotofugi, and in the february will be shown in Milwaukee at Hotboards for one day, and The Artbar for 2 weeks following. I've recently nailed down a final date with LC at Cannibal Flower to be showing in Los Angeles on the 26th of March.

(December 4. 2004): There's this drawing club I got invited to do my chicken scratch for that's really cool. It's organized by a friend of mine Greg Hardin who is an artist and designer for Big Idea Studios in Chicago. It's called Drawergeeks. Lot's o' cool talent drawing on it. Mark Behm, Tom Bancroft, Tim Hodge, Henk Dawson, Bryan Ballinger, Joe and Michelle Gorski, etc, etc.... Check it out.

(December 3. 2004): Haha. You know how things can delay sometimes...but it seems that I will finally be working with WildStyle Technicians on some stuff.....Here's some of Izze's work.

(November 17. 2004): I am doing some work right now for Lucky Designs. Acknowledgments and props to Cindy Keizman. We are working on some concepts for retailers like Saks 5th Ave., Fred Segal, Hot Topic, Neiman Marcus , etc, etc. Pillows, shoes, toys, clothes, should be out sometime in '05.

(November 17. 2004): The skateboard deck artshow is starting its journey around the country. It just started with humble beginnings in Virginia, and will end in LA/ Orange County sometime in March/April/May.

October 15. 2004: I am going to be showing with a group of totally sweet artists in Hollywood in November. Props to Joe Ledbetter, Alayna Magnan, and Thomas Han.

(October 8. 2004): Panda, No Panda is having a release party for their album far away from me, and there my drawings will be. Here is the info. Show up in a penguin suit and bark:
Saturday October 30th, 8pm
Lighton Circus
Suzumenomiya, Utsunomiya, Tochigi Japan

(September 18. 2004): Alright. I just recently spoke to Eddieflip. It seems that in Chicago, at least, our show is being sponsered by DC Shoes. Also, the grant that we were looking to get to ship the artwork all the around the country just officially went through. Nice.

(August 16. 2004): Well, it seems I may be getting back into doing some clothing design. A group of graff artists / designers known as the WildStyle Technicians have expressed an interest in my work. Much thanks and respect to Izze.

(July 30. 2004):I have started designing an album for the group Panda, No Panda. They are funny and silly and from Hyogo Japan.

(May 22. 2004): www.valsurf.com . It is finished. Amazingly, there has been a positive response already from Roxy, O' Neill, Quiksilver, DVS, Girl, Chocolate, and the pros from the teams.
(May 22. 2004): Thanks to the efforts of my good friend Eddieflip, I will be showing my work on a skateboard deck artshow with many other totally rad individuals. Additional talent is being added to the roster everyday, with showings across the country being arranged. As of now, artists from coast to coast and europe will be partaking....I will post again as things develop.

(March 6. 2004): Million Grand Recordings website completed. Streaming audio, streaming video, animation and design.

(February 09. 2004): Started work on another music concept, and just wrapped up a photo shoot near Yuma with Tom to capture the compositions. Wow. You know it's where they filmed STAR WARS. Sand Dunes are rad. The pictures (like the one to the left) are step 1 out of a gagillion with some new styles I am experimenting in. I will be adding the strange brew......

Heh. Time for the labcoat and goggles.
